In this fast-paced world, we all are overwhelmed with loads of information or mental calories to digest, resulting in information fatigue. Just like how overeating makes you feel sluggish, slows you down, and eventually affects your overall health, information fatigue leads to stress and impedes decision-making. We know that eating in small chunks when you’re hungry and mindfully can help improve your health. Similarly, an antidote for this information fatigue is,

the bite-sized articles — a contemporary and effective way of learning with small chunks of mental calories or information to digest.

Microlearning or bite-sized articles is the buzzword in the world of eLearning. It is comprehensive, helps readers quickly and easily consume information, and increases learner retention.

Microlearning or bite-sized articles are small, short, succinct, and focused on specific nuggets of information.

How to develop bite-sized articles at a high level:

  1. Define and focus on one specific objective
  2. Break down into smaller units
  3. Focus on the Must-Know information
  4. Each bite-sized article should take 3–5 mins for a reader to complete.

The goal is to create digestible content and make it stick to the long-term memory.
